All 35 of these sculptures are still in progress. They started with wire, papier-mâché, sculptamold, and finally resin and fiberglass. They are very solid little guys. I began painting them with house paint and thought I would paint them new colors every couple months like the columns in the subway stations. Unfortunately, the surface just looked cheap. Now, I am using oil paint and that is a lot more fun and more mess.
