I listen to a lot of audiobooks while I’m working in my studio. I never listen to music because that would make me crazed and dance-y. Audiobooks just pin me to my chair and allow me to draw for hours and hours. I just lisened to The Buddha in the Attic, a finalist for the 2011 National Book Award in Fiction. This is a book full of rich details and a lyrical repetition that was really nice to listen to.

i have listened to EVERY this american life! hahaha… getting ready to listen to girl w the dragon tattoo and obama’s book, both were rec’s from friends. i will be sure to add this to the list!!!
