Smoke detectors and the like can be such a drag. I was so terrified when my carbon monoxide detector decided it needed a new battery in the dead of night. I had to count the beeps and the flashing light through sleepy eyes to figure out what it was telling me. I can see this little bird being kind of tacky but also kind of awesome.
